| T225 - Air Distribution System | |||
|
Most industrial air supplies contain moisture, pipe scale, and other particulates which not only hinder the operation of air tools, but reduce their life. In fact, freezing of moisture in compressed air is a leading cause of reliability concerns. At Wilden, they understand your compressed air challenges and that's why they engineered the TURBO 225 air distribution system. This patent pending system is designed to slow the expansion of air within the pump, preventing unwanted freeze-ups while enhancing reliability. The TURBO 225 can easily pass moisture held in suspension, allowing the most maintainable air-operated, double-diaphragm pump in the industry to remain "simply the best."

An inherent characteristic of reciprocating pumps is the pressure change between each pump stroke. This pressure fluctuation can be problematic in applications where it is desirable or necessary to have constant flow. The Equalizer provides a supplementary pumping action between pump strokes, thus minimizing pressure fluctuation while offering protection to your pumping system.

| HP250 - High Pressure Pump | |||
|
The patent-pending HP250 was designed to reliably transfer viscous solid-laden slurries at high head pressures. The HP250, air-operated, double-diaphragm pump is capable of generating 250 psig (17.24 bar) with only 80 psig (5.5 bar) air supply. The HP250 does not require costly external boosters or amplifiers to achieve this amplified output. The 3:1 pressure ratio is created by utilizing surface area differential to intensify pressure output. The HP250 is the cost effective solution to your high pressure pumping application.

The Hytec pump utilizes pressure differential to reciprocate and discharge the process fluid. Compressed air is used as a driving force to overcome liquid head pressure. The compressed air is alternately supplied to one air chamber at a time, allowing the opposite air chamber to exhaust. This action draws process fluid into one liquid side of the pump while discharging the process fluid from the opposite side of the pump. Electric signals powering an external 4-way solenoid valve dictate the speed at which this reciprocating motion occurs, thereby controlling the flow rate of the pump. The air supply not only compresses the bellows, but also cools the bellows and air chambers allowing the high temperature Hytec model to operate at 180 degrees Centigrade.

Wilden's patent pending Pro-Flo
technology assures that your fluid process will operate without hesitation.
Wilden has engineered a simplistic air distribution system resulting in enhanced
pump reliability.
The Pro-Flo design utilizes a pilot valve and spool configuration which serves as an anticentering device. The shifting mechanism is held in place until reciprocation is reinitiated. Proprietary composite seal and bore materials, coupled with close manufacturing tolerances, significantly reduce "blow-by" without requiring lubrication. Problematic freezing is diminished due to Pro-Flo porting and muffler designs which slow the expansion of air within the pump, preventing unwanted freezing. Pro-Flow will enhance your system's productivity by providing fluid requirements on demand. |

Industry has been using Wilden pumps for decades in rugged applications such as mine dewatering, grouting and construction, slurry transfer and sump cleaning. The Stallion, capable of flows to 160 gpm, utilizes a newly designed ball and seat configuration allowing clearance of solids up to 3/4". The shaft has been reinforced with a nylon bumper pad to absorb shock and strengthen the shaft. A high impact polyurethane base has been added to the Stallion for added durability and shock absorption. Finally, the discharge manifold has cast-in handles for easy portability. Now it's your turn to find out just how durable and portable a pump can be.

Wilden Pump & Engineering Company further broadens the scope of applications suitable for the air-operated, double diaphragm pump by introducing the Wil-Gard I Diaphragm Monitoring System. This system detects fugitive emissions at the source: The Primary Diaphragm, not at the air chamber or the air exhaust as do other systems. This is accomplished by utilizing patented sensors located between the Teflon primary and back-up diaphragms within the Wilden pump. When the sensors detect an organic or non-organic fluid, an alarm is tripped while the back-up diaphragm offers containment. Relay contacts are provided within the Wil-Gard I control module giving you the ability to activate external components such as isolation valves or air shut-off valves. This leads to an increase in protection from product contamination, an increase in containment, a reduction in fugitive emissions, and a reduction in down time and maintenance costs.
