Meet Our Staff
Daryl Coppola – Outside Sales Engineer
Daryl started with FR Mahony in 2013 in our service department and worked his way up to lead technician. Daryl joined the outside sales team in 2019 and continues to use his vast service skills in his new role. Daryl is a level 3 E/One certified service trainer and a level 3 E/One certified installer trainer. In his spare time, he volunteers as his son’s cub scout leader, and as his daughter’s softball coach. His family will say his only interest is water and wastewater topics, but he does have a love for the outdoors and Batman. He is a member of NEWEA, MAWEA, MEWEA and serves on the young professional committees for both NEWEA & MEWEA. Daryl is the current YP Chair for NEWEA.

John Tetreault – Outside Sales Engineer

John has covered the New England region for his entire career and is a member of numerous organizations including WEF, NEWEA, AWWA, NEWWA, NHWPCA, MWWA, and PCWWA. John is a past President of PCWWA and is currently Chairman of the Scholarship Committee. John has a degree in Manufacturing Processes from Wentworth Institute of Technology. John’s favorite hobby is woodworking and cabinet making, a family tradition passed down by his grandfather and father.
Jess King – Inside Sales
Jess joined the F.R. Mahony Inside Sales team in July 2010. We call her Jess around here, not to be confused with the other woman named “Jeff”. She brings with her a Child Care education and also a Veterinary background. Those skills do, surprisingly, come in handy from time to time here at F.R. Mahony. Halloween is her favorite holiday, so if you come into our office and find one person in costume, you’ve found Jess.
When she’s not working, she spends her time lifting things up and putting them down, paying organizations and charities to run 3 miles, taking care of her hairless cat ‘Peetri’, and she also likes to believe she’s still crafty and attempts many DIY projects at home.
Jess is always on the go and continuously waiting for the next adventure.
Mike Sparks – Outside Sales Engineer
Mike Sparks is a Sales Associate at F.R. Mahony & Associates. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from THE University of Rhode Island. Mike has a number of years’ experience in high rate water and wastewater process treatment systems. He is a member of WEF, AWWA, and NEWEA. He joined the company in 2013.
Debby Kellstrand – Sales Administrative Assistant
Debby has been with FRMA since 2004; she supports management and sales staff, pleads for database accuracy, and coordinates marketing activities. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and especially “shopping” for antique ceramics, specializing in Wedgwood. She participates in an annual International Wedgwood Seminar to study that company’s history and products; and over twenty years has visited many US states from New England to California, and also England.
A member of six Wedgwood collector societies (Boston to Australia), she hopes to visit Australia some day!
Gary Tremblay – Controls Engineering Manager
Gary has an Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Worcester Junior College. He has been a licensed electrical contractor in Massachusetts since 1974 and has extensive experience in the design and manufacturing of electrical power and control systems as well as hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Prior to joining F.R.Mahony he operated his own company, providing custom electrical controls for water and wastewater applications. That company was subsequently integrated into FRMA.
